Brilliant speaker and historian. Not an effective leader.
Just for the record, I will NEVER vote for a Socialist/Liberal/Progressive/Democrat.

23 weeks ago @ Big Government - I agree. Gingrich failed in his leadership role and let the Republicans essentially turn into big spending Democrats by 1996. It turned me off completely, and although I have always voted against the Democrats, it was usually holding my nose as I voted for a Republican.
I'm done with the 'leaders' that get selected by the GOP. I have moved my allegiance to Ron Paul, who has displayed a steady consistancy to following the Constitution for all these years. His quirkier stuff will not harm the country like it will if any of the other Candidates become elected.
Sorry to say it, but I think it is too little too late for the GOP. Ron Paul believes in the Constitution, as do I.
