Hi urushiol,

I would drink the smoothies before the end of the day, if possible. I don't recommend keeping them overnight...although I have been known to do that a few times, and having a leftover for breakfast. But it's definitely best to drink them soon after making them. And definitely, you can add all kinds of superfoods to them...including maca! I have some recipes using maca on my Live Green Smoothie Diet site. :D
Happy LGSing!

I usually put the filling into small white cabbage leaves (as I described in the recipe). Some people are into dehydrating little corn tortillas...that would certainly work.

You can use any berries you\'d like instead of the raspberries. And I now usually add Goji berries as well!

The beauty of it is you can always decrease the amount of sweet ingredients. I get it would be tasty with maple syrup, but I imagine it would change the texture. Was it very soft when finished?
