Why not to organize the national referendum regarding the power of President to bomb foreign countries?!

H.Clinton,"The United States does not recognize spheres of influence,"
Oh, really? !
The US doesn't recognize any other country sphere of influence, but jealously preserves its very own.. all over the world.
What a hypocrisy!

Behind the veterans are some corrupt generals who are unhappy with the minister's anti-corruption stand. He declared that the generals would not be able to control the money. Until recently the Army was suffering from outright stealing by the commanders money, equipment, and even soldiers' monthly payments.
Hate it when anything that happens in Russia is presented as the "demonstrations against the bloody regime".

The countries which violate human rights of others everywhere in the world should not throw stones, themselves living in the glass houses.

"""A former CIA officer accused of revving an electric drill near the head of an imprisoned terror suspect has returned to U.S. intelligence as a contractor, training CIA operatives after leaving the agency, The Associated Press has learned.

The CIA officer wielded the bitless drill and an unloaded handgun - unauthorized interrogation techniques - to menace suspected USS Cole bombing plotter Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri inside a secret CIA prison in Poland in late 2002 and early 2003, according to several former intelligence officials and a review by the CIA's inspector general.""""

In just two sentences we see the admission of having secret prisons on foreign soil, and using the same methods the Holocaust perpetrators used against their victims: torture, pure and simple.

What a horrible "mistake"!
How is the West is going to " win hearts and souls" of the Afghan population, if NATO continues to blunder again and again?!

'You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink'
The Democracy is not something that Middle-Eastern countries are ready to embrace. Corruption, bribes and giving and taking "gifts" are parts of many cultures, and there is nothing that can change the ingrained belief in the entitlement on the side of the Iraqi officials.

If I started marching down the Main Street of my hometown without first receiving the march permit, would I be detained? Certainly/ I still remember the civil disobedience protests when some of the activists were climbing the fence at the Kennedy Space Center when first nuclear fuel containing satellite was about to be launched. The "climbers" were removed by the police. So why the Nemtsov's arrest warrants such a feeding frenzy in the Western media?
He committed the act of civil disobedience, he is briefly detained, he is released... Where is the news?

Is it possible that there is more Muslims in the US than Jews?
They should organize and create its own version of the AIPAC. Then both sides would have equal influence on the American lawmakers and have their say.
And we, the ordinary Joe and Jane, would seat on the side of the road and watch them squabble. We could even get a tax break if both of these groups pay enough to our Congress ))))
