I know im probably not the first person whos said this but what would be really nice is if someone could make an app for this blog. An app would be a little easier to blog with. Idk if thats possible or some ppl might even think its a retarded idea but im just tired of having to open up this web page or refresh it. Sometimes my session is timed out so i have to log out and back in. Just saying

Speedy is right, you had to have had those files registered through cydia a long time ago when the one day window was open. You can tell if you did by looking at the top of cydia
If youve ha that phone for 3 or more months like you said you have then you definately dont have the new bootrom so youre safe

Trying not to repeat everything that everyone else said but elnino is absolutely right. Make sure you know for a fact that the 3gs has an older bootrom cuz if it doesnt then the factory unlocked part wont make up for your jailbreak issue
Im running a 3gs 3.1 custom firm with att and push. Otifications work and the 3.1 does make battery life longer. Some may disagree but im just saying for me its all good.
Mine is like that too. I have a 16g 3gs with custom 3.1 and it started right when i got the custom firmware. Dont really care cuz its not drastically reduced but did notice it. Sorry i have no fix. Just wanted to add input
Im not trying to be negative but are you getting your phone brand new from apple? Because if so then the chances that that your 3gs will have the new bootrom are really high and your chance of it having 3.1 and not 3.0 are even higher. Hopefull you are getting an older 3gs with 3.0. If you didnt know about this then please read up on the status of all new iphone 3gs
