Sulfur in fuels like diesel, produce by products such as sulfuric acid during the internal combustion process. This acid is introduced to the oil through blow by and can lead to corrosion. Higher TBN helps the oil resist this process longer and protect your engine longer than oils with lower TBN.

You should refer to the manufacturer's recommendation for the proper lubricant, which will normally be expressed as an API (American Petroleum Institute) number and viscosity. Same goes for the fuel. You can use AMSOIL's products that meet or exceed those recommendations to ensure you comply with the manufacturer's warranty requirements.

No wonder our country is broke. I'm sick and tired of my tax money going to stuff like this. Prohibition didn't work and this isn't either. Like others have said, legalize it, tax it and stop paying all the people trying to enforce it. We'd have enough to pay down the deficit and create a real economic stimulus.

Very informative article. In the book, Selling Sucks, Rumbauskas points out that people like to buy, not to be sold and I think a lot of what have to say here goes right along with that.

I was under the impression that the Caddy Method was a 1 day class and the others were separate. I did enjoy the class and felt like I got a lot of value out of it. I'm achieving some of the goals I set in class and looking forward to setting some more.
