I agree with the group's cause. I do however fail to see how these websites do anything to support their efforts. If anything, they help make the case to tighten consumption laws and keep the 21-only ordinance. At the same time the sites attack and alienate a large group of people who might support their efforts (eg: voters 21 and older). Not a well thought out tactic on their part.

No. The social worker and judge are not to blame . The mother and father are to blame. It is about time people were held accountable for their actions....especially when they murder their own child. Expecting government to succeed in every aspect of our lives leads to outcomes like dead kids.
Where is the research indicating people are going to use these routes? You won't find it. The initial investment is a drop in the bucket compared to how much it will cost to keep the routes running. I guarantee you no private company will risk capital to invest in such a boondoggle without tax money guarantees they will come out of it with a profit.
Michael Moore is a fraud. Watch the documentary "Michael Moore Hates America". See how happy the people of Flint, Michigan are that he came to thier city ....and then left. It humors me that the writer quotes an unnnamed source to say Michael Moore's only interest is exposing fraud. The same tactic Moore uses in the fictional movies (based on half truths) he creates. They are not documentaries by any definition of the word. Michael Moore's only interest is making money for himself through the capitalist system. You have a problem? Get up and do something about it. Don't hold your breath waiting for Moore to come solve it for you.

I think Mr. Maehl's statement that the Walters "would have been tickled" should read "would have been ticked" considering they left $2 million in trust for the PERPETUAL maintainance of the property. Since when does property acquisition come under "maintainance"? Our bureaucrats need to take some accounting and business classes before the spend us out of OUR houses and homes.
