Thought this would be perfect for our Blog Cabin. Using reclaimed wood. http://www.diynetwork.com/decorating/3-ways-to-de...
This article explains so much about Huckleberry Harvesting. And don't forget to click on the recipe for Huckleberry Cream Pie. On my Christmas List is to visit my favorite restaurant that serves Huckleberries in so many different ways. But this time I am going to order Huckleberry Pie and Huckleberry Ice Cream. Speaking of Blackberries, they grow, and do they ever grow, very wild here. My Mom always made Blackberry pie for us and was it good. Thanks fun memories. http://wildhuckleberry.com/2009/06/10/prospects-f...

Can you swing by Seattle? The best there is! http://www.tripadvisor.com/LocationPhotoDirectLin...
We would like to get the record straight on the Burning Bush as far as we are concerned. My Mom bought this bush from a very reliable source so many years ago. She planted it in the front window for all to see. It has been a joy for passers by, neighbors, and our family. It is not invasive, needs pruning every once in awhile. Do your research there are different types of Burning Bush and the one we have in the Pacific Northwest here in our little Dream Home is Simply Beautiful!
Thanks Laurie for the beautiful pictures! Brought back so many memories. My family moved around a lot in search of work but we lived many years in Spokane and my Grandparents lived at the Lake. Remember all the Four Seasons playing in the snow, apricots and apples in our back yard along with all kinds of fresh vegetables from our garden. Thanks Builder that looks just like our Burning Bush. When we landed in Seattle my Mom planted a Burning Bush to remind her of Spokane. It is just beautiful. This is a pretty song by a pretty lady that died way too young from Cancer. Thanks again Laurie for the memories. Hope you all keep this Blog Cabin simple and recycle as much as you can. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7mMaFDReOg
