Nice. A new pricing game!

Meanwhile, where are Barker's Bargain Bar, Credit Card, and Check Game?

Pat Sajak originally accepted a job as Wheel of Fortune host just so HE could keep his name out there for bigger and better things, you know.

As it turns out, those bigger and better things were WOF.

Between the $483 difference of the first contestant and Drew's reaction to the second, I almost thought we were going to have another Terry Kniess incident on our hands. Good thing it didn't end up that way! ^^;

This concept seems incredibly wacky, crazy, and over-the-top!

Then again, I'm sure Jeopardy! once seemed like that, too. Give the answers and have contestants give the questions? Why, that's just crazy! xD

Rich Fields sure has been busy, hasn't he?

He's becoming the hardest-working announcer in the game show biz, it looks like. Even harder working than Johnny Olson!

It's about damn time a game show announcer actually did something to increase his prominence. These people have been unknowns and "unsung heroes" for far too long!

WSLS in Roanoke, Virginia cancelled DOND just before the second season even started! Previously, it was coming on at 7:30 P.M. with Inside Edition at 7:00...now Inside Edition is on at 7:30, with another half-hour of news on at 7:00; this was probably done to compete with WSET, which also has a 7:00 P.M. newscast.

So...uh, yeah. WSLS had even less confidence in the show than some of you guys and your local stations. "10 on your side", indeed! xD

You know, this reminds me a lot of Power of 10, which was hosted by Drew Carey after he got picked to host The Price is Right, but before the show began.

I haven't watched the show at all this week, but if what Martin is saying is true...well, let's not think about it. Let's just remember that Drew Carey got off to a slow start, too, and that Millionaire and Family Feud are totally different formats... ¬_¬

(Of course, Power of 10 and TPIR are different formats, too, and Drew handled himself pretty well on both. Also, Drew did better on P10 than he did in his first few weeks of TPIR... D:)

Last year's special went a lot better than I thought it would. Hope this year's goes well, too.

But you wanna know what we REALLY need? More Million Dollar Spectaculars! Whatever happened to those?

Also, this show should debut another new pricing game. Did the fountain of creativity run dry over there or something?

Sorry if this is "grossly off-topic" (your words from the comment policy), but since this was the most recent entry involving The Price is Right, I felt like I should comment on this one...

I tried to watch TPIR today before my TV crapped out on me, and I just barely noticed that Temptation has a new set! You made a blog entry when Most Expensive underwent a set change (even though that one happened on the Valentine's Day special); maybe you should comment on this one. If you get a chance, that is. No rush. ^^;
