If it stops a future incidence, no, it's not late.

You should NEVER light the pilot yourself! That is very dangerous! After the flood, there was a house around the corner from us that we reported we were smelling a lot of gas as we walked by it. Come to find out they also lit the pilot themselves & had no idea they had a bad leak. The technician called us back & said we likely saved their house & their lives. The reason you're supposed to wait for the technicians to get there is because they make sure the gas is flowing right & examine for any leaks. I'm sorry you have a newborn & had to deal with this horribly cold weather with any gas or electricity but it was very foolish (& could have been costly in lives & damage) of you to turn it back on yourself.

Sadly, yes it does happen too often. There are workers who have many times this year been on the roof of our 3 story condo building. Back in August, we found out that there was water leaking down into one of the places on the 2nd floor. After the guy investigating the leak could not find any place from our 3rd story condo that could have been leaking, I mentioned that there had been guys earlier in the week walking around on the roof using a water hose on the roof. I thought the guy was going to lose as he ranted on about how the condo roof was not strong enough for the guys to be walking around everywhere (they did discover the guys had broken something & never bothered to have it fixed). I have never seen the guys use any safety gear & at least once I heard a guy fall as the ladder collapsed on him.

Not a note on this incident but...I always find it interesting when someone talks about going the speed *LIMIT.* It's called limit because that's the fastest you should be going in the best of conditions. It does not mean it's always safe to be going as fast as that limit & it does not mean you can't get a speeding ticket if conditions warrant that speed dangerous (e.g., you should not be going the speed *limit* during icy conditions).

My thoughts, too! Queer is in reference to sexual orientation so it should never be listed as an option for gender. It doesn't make sense for it to be there.

Actually...according to Colorado.gov:

"Felony sex offenses. Sex offenses, especially those committed against children, have their
own categories of limitations to prosecution. The time period during which an individual may be
prosecuted for a felony sex offense is ten years after the commission of the crime. Prosecution must
commence within ten years after the victim reaches the age of 18 for the felony offenses of sexual
assault and unlawful sexual contact when the victim is under the age of 18 at the time of the offense.
Prosecution for failure to register as a sex offender against children must commence within three
years of the commission of the crime. There is no statute of limitations for specified sex offenses
against children."

Did they not allow you to request another one? You should be able to...On the blue sheet that came with the ballot:

"What should I do if I make a mistake, damage or lose my ballot?

You may request a replacement ballot by emailing Vote@BoulderCountyVotes.org or calling 303-413-7740. You may also go to any Voter Service and Polling Center to pick up a replacment in person."

It was roughly 8 miles outside of Ward (I happened to see that sign right after we passed by the accident the 2nd time on our way home).

We drove by shortly after this happened. It was strange in that we didn't see any tire tracks or had a clue what happened. From where it happened, that was one far fall down.
