That is a ridiculous reason being given for the deal collapsing, after all an anonymous complaint could have come from Levy, Hearns, or anyone with an axe to grind, or something to lose financially!

Unsure about this, it would really have to be looked into. It's not just about getting cheap rent - it all depends on what say we would have on the redevelopment.

No point in selling your home to rent somewhere totally unsuited to what your needs. Once the Boleyn is sold, it's gone forever.

Listen, you can throw your collective dummies out of the pram all season if you like, what good will it do?

Fat Sam is who we've got.

Give the man a chance, who knows he might learn a thing or two about the 'West Ham Way'. And if he doesn't, he'll still be judged on his success, not on the manner he goes about it.

Hear hear.. We're a Championship side from August, we're in a complete mess, we've got a meddling little grunt of a co-chairman who needs put in his place.
Pretty football? I've not seen any evidence of it since Pardew. So frankly I'll take any manager who'll kick a few arses, won't take any sh*t, and who can pull a team together on a shoestring that will give a damn about the club.

A fat, no-nonsense, uncompromising northerner, who plays to win, might just be what we need right now.

Lambert, the players and fans at Norwich think he's Jesus... gotta be something in it! And I've said it before, but I also fancy Walter Smith for the job. He certainly turned round Rangers in the same way Martin O'Neill did for Celtic.

Whoever we get, they need TIME to build a team before we can turn things around.
