Thank you for info. Sad to hear everyone has sold these beautiful homes in the last 15 years. I do hope someone, like you said, wins who needs it. Most likely the taxes and upkeep for the average person was overwhelming. It would make me sad to think people sold them just for the "money". I'm by far not wealthy and certainly would love to win this beautiful home and keep it for the duration of time. I would hope I had the brains to be smart enough to look at options on how to be able to financially keep it, like maybe renting it out just enough to pay the taxes. Anyway, Good Luck to everyone in the contest.
Winning this home would be a wonderful surprise. A little bit of sunshine and hope since the New Year started out horrible. I had rotor cuff surgery 12/28/19 and my partner developed bacteria menengitis with a secondary blood infection and was in the hospital since New Years Eve until Feb.9th,2011. Long ordeal. He went back and forth from hospital to rehab and back to hospital twice. Total of 41 days. I was filled with hopelessness and despair. Came home from hospital one night 0 degrees and the house had froze up. Broken pipes, water everywhere. No heat and it was 48 degrees in house. Wondering whats going to happen next! My kind of house, would love to win it.
Would love to win this beautiful home. My twin grandkids would love it. Twins, one skiis the other snowboards. I have a question?? How many winners in the last 15 years have been able to keep these beautiful homes? Have the upkeep or taxes been the cause for people to sell them???
