Dev Team: I have a good one for you you guys. I restored my Iphone 4 CDMA (Sprint) and guess what poped up when the restore was complete, Congratulations your Iphone is unlocked! I called Verizon and they can activate the phone. I guess I don't have a useless CDMA Iphone 4 after all.

With contract phones there is no way to get out of the data charge. The only thing I could recommend is ATT Go Phone. With Go phone you don't have to pay for data, but I don't remember if the phone needs to be unlocked or not.

Phone used - Sprint Iphone 4s - CDMA I used my backup activation token today and ATT SIM Card activated and it was painless! It really sucks that Apple closed the loophole for Sam , but then again thats what Apple does. I do have a question for MuscleNerd and the rest of the Dev team. Is there anyway to have 2 activation_records on file located in var/root/library/lockdown/activation_records? It would be great to go back and forth from Sprint to ATT? To clear up any confussion, if I don't put the Sprint International Sim Card back in the phone after using ATT, the phone will not activate, even though Sprint doesn't use Sim cards. I don't get it. LOL

Yes my phone is already activated through Sprint before I started messing around with the Sam Unlock. I did use the orignal sim that came with the phone to make it work. Do you still have the original Sprint sim that came with your phone?

Faslane. Yes the Simslot is used for international carriers only, and not for carriers such as ATT and Tmobile.

Sorry to say this but the 90 day rule doesn't apply to me. iPhone 4s's bought before Nov. 11 at Sprint are internationally Unlocked already. Have a nice Willie, and thanks for the Unlock update.

Sprint Iphone 4 s - 5.0.1 (9A405) I applied the Jailbreak this morning with Absinthe (MAC) and took less than 5 minutes. I haven't noticed any issues yet. Can you tell me if the GSM feature on the Sprint iPhone 4s will ever be unlocked to use with any carrier? I'm fully aware that my phone is International Unlock already. Sprint told me that phones purchased before Nov.11 are still unlocked for International use. I don't need the Unlock since I'm happy with Sprint, but then again, it would be nice to pop in a pre-paid sim at any given time. Thanks Dev Team!!!! Later

If you plug the phone into Itunes and update you will loose your unlock. Preserve your baseband, use a custom ISPW
