Hi Marlon. Our Media Commons group runs audio and video recording studios at close to 30 locations between University Park and the distributed campuses across the state. They spend most of their time consulting with faculty and students about making their own recordings, editing them using a variety of tools, and posting them online. Most of this work is at the \"good enough\" level that is intended for course assignments, although they will help students who are majoring in something like film, photography, or music with more professional-quality editing. For very high-production work, we would refer people to the television and radio station that is part of the university\'s Outreach unit.

Hey Beth. I used to be a member of Front Runners as well when there was a local chapter in our town. I might be doing the Disney Marathon in 2013 as well - or possibly the Philly Marathon this year. Either way, I might see you.

Agreed. There are a lot of things that don't work quite right about SuperBetter as-is, but I like this attempt to use game elements to focus on academic goals.

I could talk your ear off about Activity Theory (CHAT) and how things are just artifacts that mediate human activity, but I won't. I need to give that a nod though since that has shaped my interest in verb focus.

Thanks Natalie. One of the presenters later on (Ruben) had done some analysis of all of the topics that were posted and how they had morphed and merged. It was fascinating. When his video is available, I may post it. It was an anthropological perspective on our concepts of "social", "mobile", and other ideas that we think are new.
