I too have been thinking about a Kindle, but just don't seem to get around to it - not sure I want to let go of my books. Now though I see that Barnes and Noble has entered into the picture with "nook" which at first glance seems a step above the Kindle, although it is a little smaller. Allows for expansion using Micro SD expansion slot, supports PDFs, MP3s, pictures and graphics, has a color touchscreen, provides capability of "loaning" books and claims thousands of "Free" books.
Now if I just knew someone who has this or could do an actual comparison with Kindle and Sony.
