We have a dusting of snow in Bavaria today (okay maybe an inch or two, but not enough to really cover the grass)...it made me wonder where our Dream Home is sitting for snowfall right now.

2010 kept the home...I am not sure if permanently.

I will put it this way- if you are truly worried you can look up the tax table up on the IRS website- it is easy to figure. But the reality is that you will spend the entire cash prize on taxes and then have an amount left that is equivalent to a normal home...so, you are getting more house for your money.

Taxes will vary by individual and what your personal taxes are included with it to what your personal tax level is...it is easy enough to go look the tax table up on the IRS website if you are truly concerned.

In the rules it says something like 5 days for re-trying. There was someone away at like a funeral or something (I want to say the MAryland Dream HOme winner- but could be wrong)...luckily, they got a hold of them on the last day.

My answer...try not to plan a vacation in March.
