I don't get it. Why can't Republicans or conservatives seem to get a message together? The O-man gives them openings daily and even a half-brain dead leftist could drive a truck through. Why can't they?

Or is the "can't get it together" just mainstream media disinformation?

There's apparently been a lively debate here that I missed.

With respect to the video itself, while I would argue this video is not 100% correct in all the details, it's close enough. I've been saying we have a republic not a democracy for 30 years, since I taught political science. In 1916 we came one step closer to mob rule with the direct election of senators. Now the left wants to do away with the Electoral College and rely totally on majority rule. Very bad idea!

Is there really "an increase in gun violence" or is this a case of the press reporting on every single gun-related event in such a way as to pave the way for new anti-gun legislation?
