I feel the message and the point of presenting this video is to alert people that when they critically think about the government currently in power (no..not the Dems or the Reps... but the structure of the government that BOTH parties have created) it has moved away from the origional construct and more towards the olygarchies mentioned above (whether socialist or facism is debatable and a moot point). The purpose of looking at this visual aid is to enlighten people!

Sometimes people are over-educated. I do not mean that in a negative way. Some times people get caught up in their own thinking, albeit left OR right.... liberal OR conservitive, and I challenge you to step back..... see the forrest in front of you....not the few trees with broken branches.......

No matter the driving force, totalitarianism regimes (olygarchies/dictatorships .... Nazi-ism/Communism), completely control the population by using the LAWS they have instituted to control the population for THEIR personal gain. Those in charge in this scenario are ABOVE the laws!

With the anarchists having NO laws except the "rule of survival" wich is survival of the fitest.

The United States is a representative republic which is designed more towards the middle where their are persons who represent a portion of the population. These representitives make the laws. These LAWS rule the land and NO ONE is above said laws.

I have read your response.... the responses to your response... and the responses you have given to the responses.....
I am just wondering what inaccuracies did you find in the video? Never mind the presentation differences you might see since that is a matter of taste. But what FACTUAL inaccuracies are there in this video?

I agree with Coffee_Hound when he stated that the graph of the spectrum of governmental control should have been vertical rather than horizontal. I agree that in the horizontal representation would lead an uneducated (or under-educated) viewer (particularly a far "right" or "left" leaning political viewing person) to equate the totalitarianism regimes represented on the 'left' side of the graph with the current 'left' in the modern definition as viewed in a democratic construct. If one were to mentally 'convert' the graph to a vertial one, and rid one's self of the mental conflict, then the message should be clear.

I also have to agree as well as to nmeyer89 just below...... the "State" can not force anyone to do anything such as this. Voting is a right.....and choosing NOT to vote is also a right..... and, unfortunate as it may be, stupid people have the right to vote too........ we have seen that swing elections more than once....!!! LOL

other than that.... 1-7 sounds great.
I would also add there should be some sort of accountability to the voters....not in 2 or 4 years... but sooner.. not sure how that would be done.... I am suprised that there arent MORE Obama suporters MORE angry at him. Looking at all his campaign promises he has broken in the first 100 days..... wow... guiness book of records should be called in!

its a scam.......
I work in communications at a police dept... we have seen several people get victimized.... they will want to send you money, you give them your banks routing number and your account number and they reverse wire money out of your account OR the less technical ones will request you send a sum of money for an "application packet"...... then they are gone

I can not claim such an extended military career, non-the-less, I have repeated those words numerious times. First time, enlisted in US Army, then Army ROTC, and in two different police departments and as a local selectman (small town NH governing body). Sounds like a "small-fry" experience but the words were the same. " I swear to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America from enemies both foreign and domestic........"

In my book, once you swear an oath, always should you keep it! As far as who the "enemies" are....not sure of all of them...... but have a rough idea....

Throw the bums out who make a sham of our political system!!!
