What a great story and interesting character. It is always so nice when somebody has a passion for something that is so powerful and motivating no matter what the subject matter is. Well unless it becomes a crazed obsession (remember The Fan). I couldn't help wondering through the whole story if this man had a girlfriend and if she was too was a fan so thanks for the footnote at the end. Now I want a follow up story too see how this all ends.
You know here in Florida from May until September we alternate between the car, the house and the building which are all of course air conditioned with the occasional trip outside but only with a pool of water nearby. Nothing gets worn except for shorts, tank tops and flip flops even when going out to a nice dinner. But of course we are used to this and expect it and even look forward to it every year. But when not expected guess it can take some getting used to up there! Enjoy your summer!

Last week I was telling somebody a story from my New Jersey childhood and they said "Yeah but why would you go to New Jersey and I said I had no choice I was born there! LOL Unfortunately the Sopranos and the Jersey Shore have done nothing to improve the image of that state. If anything maybe just made it a bit worse! I agree, keep the Super Bowl in warm, pretty climates where people want to visit! Not to even mention crime and security!!!
Well he is not staying in Florida but he did get picked up in the first round. Go Tebow! He will be a success no matter where he plays! Road trip to Denver anyone??
Millions of fans including me would be devastated if Tebow does not get picked in the first round. But let's hope he finds an NFL team and a coach with the standards and beliefs that he lives up to. It would be a shame if he fell into the wrong hands and there are plenty of those!! I know he will be an inspiration on and off the field no matter where he ends up. Go Tim Tebow!!
I agree 100% with Pugonick and I too am waiting for Tebow to shut everybody up! Once they see what he is made of and what he can accomplish they will be singing a different tune. I would take a whole team of Tebows and Angerers.
What bad could anybody possibly say about Tim Tebow, a guy that plays his heart out and tries to lead a good example on the field and off. Perhaps Jones should stop running his mouth long enough to check his facts! And you wonder why Texans have bad reputations. Because of big mouthed jerks like this!!
I think the amount of conceit and arrogance he has is astounding. He seems to think that he can put a commercial on TV showing his dad's displeasure with him and that will make the world forget or feel better about what he did. The few people that don't care about what he did in his personal life will still be there for him, the rest of us are still disappointed. I hope this conversation between him and his deceased father has indeed taken place but not in a TV commercial and not for his personal gain. I am holding out hope for him.

What a great list! I am so thrilled to find that me and my children have read over half of these. Glad to see Dr. Suess on here too!! And I agree Charlottes Web should always be number one!
