In 2005 my fiance and I tried to get away to Niagara Falls. We're only a couple of hours drive, and I splurged on beautiful hotel rooms. We didn't get much personal time in, which is sort of why we went, but because we weren't spending all our free time cuddled up under the sheets we managed to see much more than we thought we did! We even got lost driving around Buffalo a couple of times which helped us find a great restaurant, a huge hobby store, and a Thomas the Tank Engine statue we both had our picture taken on.
