Article 1, Section 10 of the Iowa Constitution:
"In all criminal prosecutions.... the accused shall have a right to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury....

6th Amendment, US Constitution:
"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed"

These aren't tiny technicalities, these are rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the state and of the country.

Defense: Martinez, Peltier, Miskovic, Johnson (even though he works for the Black Hawks now)

Because clearly he's not making cocaine and heroin on his own. Because getting someone like him off the streets isn't going to help clean up the streets, there are plenty of others to take his place. As Shot says above, they were most likely hoping he'd be stupid enough to lead them to someone. Judging by that mugshot.....

It would still be shoplifting rather than burglary. However, the more you steal, the higher the degree of theft. Stealing a pack of gum is a misdemeanor, this is a felony.

As near as I can tell, Henderson isn't seriously considering Iowa, and I've heard rumors that he's all but committed to Oklahoma. That being said, Iowa does have a mini-CDH pipeline with Eubanks and Binns, so I don't think they can be completely written off.
