I totally missed this Chris. I like the sound of this film, and with Jakarta as the setting... well that opens a bunch of doors to some seedy criminal activity (not hating on the good people of Jakarta, just the organized crime aspect. We areas like this in Canada too).

I bet you beat up those imaginary ninjas real good! SHURIKEN TO THE EYE!

I'm totally happy they are going live. The experiment has an expiry date during a low ratings period. If they botch it, they have an out. But I'm hoping they don't. The live flow should slow them down a little more, towards building stories on a better level. They've noticeably been doing so under Bro Love. However, they've also slowed down on a number of terrible things too. It might expose them, but I'm hoping it forces them to improve and bring a better product to the table.

This site is not intended to be just about gaming, so it's appreciated man. I don't follow Community, but got a kick out of this. More non-gaming (or hybrid related) stuff is ALWAYS appreciated 'round these parts. Sure, there is lots of love for the gamers, but that is not the point of a catch-all site, brother. :D Great post, Glaser!

To make it seem special, they need to have many fail. Or at least that's my thoughts. That way when someone actually gets signed, it means something. I realize that having the first guy helps establish the whole premise, and that failing part might follow. Of course, if Silva disappears in a couple weeks (e.g. Kid Kash), it will make the GC seem like a failure.

The best parts of this episode, for me at least, was everything to do with Ric Flair and Bully Ray. The in ring was average, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I don't mind the Gut Check premise. So far, it's been a bit ambiguous. But now that the judges have been announced (which SHOULD have taken place before the contestant appeared), I think all three fit the bill. Sure it's a work, but the way this is delivered, Flair is in his niche. I am a little skeptical about signing the first guy out of the gate, but time will tell.

It's really awesome to hear someone articulate themselves upon the topic of this article who doesn't sound like a bot, or fanboy/girl. I do actually agree with most of your sentiments, and as a member of the WPO crew, endorse this criticism as thought-out!

I can relate to the issues around weight of items. Being a packmule, I've hoarded too much at this point, that I have rid myself of that compulsion to take everything. :)

I went with a Redguard archer that uses companions and conjured elementals and haven't looked back. Lockpick, sneak, and speech have helped me manipulate the politics of the story. When this game ends, it will be a sad day.

There are things that I hate though. The quick weapon switch function locks up often. The map system takes two steps to get to the map. The loading time kills me... ends game sessions often. Once in a while I find myself tackling a ridiculously powerful enemy that takes some strategy and sneaky saving tricks (wait, I don't hate that, I like the challenge). Overall, this game is fantastic. I've wasted hundreds of hours of my life with a smile on my face outside of all the criticisms. Most games are WAY shorter. If you want to talk value for hours versus price, it's a winner.

Nonetheless, Gunsage knows the score... as does OutRAGme985. This site is about the love of videogames, and fuck me, I love this game.

Ha ha!!! The Vinces are coming for you while you sleep!!

It wasn't a terrible episode, but there was some very questionable booking, IMO. I enjoyed NXT matches much more this week, to be honest. In part because Tyson Kidd is given two segment matches almost every week. It's a shame hardly anyone watches that show, because that's where he truly shines.

Funkasaurus! I didn't like Dolph losing to him two SD's ago, but love that Brodus is hovering among the top ten.

I'm very interested in the idea of Fight Night and the Gut Check thing. My only concern is that this still is TNA, and they way they handled that tournament story got mangled. On paper that looked great, so you can understand my pessimism. Hopefully it works out.

Thanks DG! I was pretty delirious from a lack of sleep when I wrote this one, so I'm glad it didn't come across as completely incoherent! :)

Slater seems to have enshrined himself as the go to job guy for the company. To be honest, I dug him with The Mouth of the South last week, but you know I'd probably mark out for anyone Hart manages.

The tag division, and the word "division" is a word that really shouldn't be used here, has been at such a low for so long I question why titles even exist. It's not that I don't want to see it exist. I just question their motives.
