I had a revolation today....I was laughing today because my employeer wants us to wear plastic dotted cloth gloves when handling components that may have came from somewhere the swine flu was. The gloves will give no protection and might even make the problem worse. One's hands sweat so the gloves get damp and warm. Then you have to remove them and hold them when not using. So one keeps them in a pocket or purse, which my spead to other items like keys, wallet, or maybe makeup. I thought it would make more sense to have hand sanatizer avaliable and that was when I had my revolation.... Is this the big smoke and mirror? I was wondering if this is going to be used to push us into a global government or global currancy? I just think it might be used becaue it is the perfect crisis they could use as an opportunity. I think it would be the worst thing......

I am also confused with the Big "B" word on the way, I thought our government said they could not fail or that would lead to the even BIGGER "D" word. Huh?! What 17 billion dollars and now we can say "bancruptcy." This is what they should have done before the bailout, so they could get rid of the union through restructuring. I just wonder how long till we can say "depression" ? Ooops I didn't mean to say it....

I have only owned gm vehicles and work for an automotive supplier and I never understood why the government bailed out the auto makers. I thought it was only delaying the inevitable and hear it comes. I also wonder why the auto makers have not started puting solar panels on hybrids. Even if it is only a small increase miles per gallon, it would help.

I feel this is also going to be a stronge case for gun control. I don't own a gun but need to get one before it is too late. I just wonder if the secret service will carry guns if any gun control comes about. I also wonder if how well we control the borders and drug traffic, if gun control would be the controlled any better? It is not the gun that kills but the person holding the gun.

Why shouldn't Fannie and Freddie have bonuses? (Please feel the sarcasim) The have received bail outs and the morgage assistance program is only for their morgages. When I first heard about morgage assistance I very annoyed that it was only if Fannie or Freddie owned the morgage. So Fannie and Freddie are the only morgage agencies that will survive because they will have less forclosures.

This does not surprise me at all. I have wondered if our officals that first allowed bonuses from AIG bail out could be getting campaign funding from some of this money. I also think Fannie and Freddie must help with campaigns since they are the only morgages that qualify for assistance.
