Big Government : 'Tea Party' Saved the GOP

I stopped listening to or reading anything that Peggy Noonan has had to say a long time ago. She is part of the Republican establishment that needs to go. It's RINO's like her that has ruined the GOP.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : America's Wish List

You are correct. I would also include rapists in with the child molesters and murderers that deserve castration and or the death penalty. There was a case recently in LA. where the death penalty was sentenced to a child molester / murderer but was overturned by the USSC saying it was unconstitutional thus overturning the punishment determined by a jury of his peers. So much for state's rights. Our courts, from top to bottom are filled with liberal judges that continually legislate from the bench almost always overturning the will of the people. It is so entrenched that I don't see any way out. You can never elect enough politicians who live by the 9/12 values and principles who would appoint good, honest conservative judges. I'm afraid the whole system of corruption must come down before it gets better. Sharia law would deal swiftly and correctly with pedophiles but unfortunately the rest of their ideology is unacceptable. You could point to any evil regime including the Nazi's that got some things right. And to borrow some words from the great Greg Gutfeld, "If you disagree with me, then you are worse than Hitler."

I must have gotten pretty deep under your skin but you need to get over your self righteousness. At least you now admit that you didn't like the AIG bonus payouts more than anyone else did. That's all you would have had to say. Maybe, you'll see me out at Keesler AFB today for the air show, look for me, I'll be wearing my gray Air Force t-shirt.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Your GM Warranty Is Backed By The Government?

Great video, this is where we are headed. Don't expect anything different out of Detroit when GM announces they are going to file for bankruptcy. The White House has already said that any bankruptcy will be "structured", thus keeping the UAW intact for what remains of GM and Chrysler. Look for more GM plant closings, especially in Republican states like Texas where Obama would have no problem closing their doors. A straightforward bankruptcy would normally break the unions and any contracts would have to be rewritten, problem solved. But, No, Obama will take care of his base and protect the unions. Anyone who has accepted bailout money, now answers to the government. There are no ends to the power grab, control and total takeover this administration is capable of.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Stand Up & Lead - 3/24

Tom2012 I think you're right on several points. Small groups need to come together, now. If things break down quickly like I fear, there won't be a chance for any national organization. Martial law, gun confiscation, government takeover of the media and the FCC cutting off communications, ect. ect.. Sounds crazy, but like Glenn always says "think the unthinkable". There's probably some truth to what a Russian professor predicted recently, that America will break into 6 different provinces that will split the country into a civil war. Thank God I live in the South, like you, where I think our best chance to rise from the ashes is going to be.

Goo, I identify with you. You are right on the money. I don't understand the Intensedebate rating system though. I don't understand your negative ratings. I've read some of your previous posts. You speak the truth. I am currently experiencing the same dilemma, only someday I hope I can reach the same heights or shall I say depths as you.

I don't know who you are or why you feel compelled to respond to a post that was not written for you unless you are appointing yourself the majority here. At no time did I mention my personal opinion of yllluminate's post, only that he made a valid point, so don't assume. We may not be as far apart on things as it may seem.

I know exactly where your coming from. I have tried to comment several times on this site, while remaining true to the 9/12 principles and values, only to be denied. It seems that if your not in total agreement with the majority here then you are forced to not comment or have to rewrite your original intent, so it loses it's meaning. There was no racist or obscene language used, in case someone might suggest that was the problem and I also am very proficient at using this site, so please don't mention that it's sometimes difficult to find specific posts.. If this is the way it's going to be then there will be definitely be dissension among everyone here. I am tempted to drop out of the 912 project but I know I can't keep quiet on important issues that I want to speak out on, so I will continue to try. I will however, "go it alone", no tea parties or protests for me. If any brother of mine in the South needs help, I will be there for them. I have my Bible, my family, my vote and if all else fails, my gun.

TNrebelgirl Your right about one thing. We won't agree. Without the bailout these people get nothing. What don't you understand about that. You want to just give in to Dodd and the rest for sticking it to the taxpayer. Bottom line is the bonus money should not be allowed and Congress should be thrown out on their ear. When Obama gets through putting the finishing touches on the road to Socialism your inept answer will undoubtedly be "well it was the law" or "it was in the contract." Try learning a little history, what Obama is doing is the same thing as the National Socialist German Workers' Party. That's right Adolf Hitler. So sit there and defend their actions and watch our country come to it's demise.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : GM CEO Steps Down, White House Backs Bankrupcy and Buyers Incentives

TexasT I didn't mean to sound to harsh, but I have family in AL that work for Hyundai. You hardly ever hear any conservative mention the hard working men and women in these plants, once I heard Rush mention them when talking about the corrupt unions in Detroit, it just bugs me when they talk about what great products GM makes and continue still even though Obama declared that he will personally guarantee the warranties on these cars. Look, I'd like to see the big 3 succeed but with corrupt unions, cafe' standards, ridiculous government regulations, it's no wonder their products are inferior that no one wants. I agree that Glenn, Rush and Sean are on our side and we should buy American. I just want someone to tell the truth.

TNrebelgirl I'll try one more time with you. The contract was between AIG and their employees not AIG, the employees and the American taxpayer. So as citizens we are not bound by a quid pro qou. The contract is not and should not be binding. And what's insane is your defense of a company that should have been allowed to fail, by trying to excuse their employees for working for a dollar a year, like I said before, if Congress didn't get us screwed up in this mess, the employees would get zero for a bonus. The American taxpayer should not be on the hook for this. I am not advocating mob rule, but by your refusal to see this injustice, it proves the point that ignorance is our most expensive commodity.

So, TNrebelgirl It's OK by you to be ram rodded by our federal government and allow taxpayer money to be doled out to employees of a failed company. You are dead wrong. The contract for bonuses was between AIG and their employees. Not just Dodd and the dems went along with this, but republicans as well. Telling Obama were to stick it, as you say, is aimed in the wrong direction. You talk of law and constitutionality. Reasoning like yours is that of lawyer speak and part of the problem. If you allow this disgusting misuse of taxpayer money to be used by sitting on your hands and retreating in defeat because "it's in the contract", you are a fool. It's time we stand up and demand that the federal government be held accountable. Also, when there is injustice, you darn well better pick and choose which laws to follow.

I didn't sign that contract and neither did the American people. The bonus money is taxpayer money,no matter how you want to spin it. I'd rather see the AG go after the money than do something that is really unconstitutional which would have been to tax 90% of the bonuses. What? Your saying let it go because it's only 0.005% of the big picture. Bull! And I know the argument that if he'll go after AiG employees then what's to stop him from going after someone else. That doesn't wash either. It's OUR money, taxpayer money. bottom line. I don't care for the AG either but in this case, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

I agree wholeheartedly, but I've been looking for a spot to once again, disagree with our hero Glenn Beck and this thread is as good as any to chime in. Beck, Rush and Hannity are all spokesman for GM and talk about the great products rolling off the lines in Detroit. Glenn says he has been a long time buyer and supporter of GM cars and buys because they're American made. American made? Take a look at so called American made cars. Parts manufactured in Canada, Partially assembled in Mexico, other countries contribute parts and cheap labor, all to be sent back to Detroit to be fully put together for a supposed car made in the USA. Yet, there are foreign car companies right here in the U.S., particularly in the South, like Toyota, Nissan and Hyundai that employee a lot of hard working Americans. And they haven't asked for any government money or bailouts. I guess my point is, that Glenn, Rush and Sean should knock off the buy USA malarkey and drop their endorsements so they can speak truthfully about the auto industry.

Yeah, sure it was fun to watch Glenn tear him up, but am I the only one to disagree with Beck on this one? I don't care what kind of contracts they had, we the taxpayers should not have to pay the bonus for people of a failed company. The notion that because they weren't part of the company that failed is flawed. If a shortstop of a baseball team is voted league MVP but his pitching department failed to get anyone out, the team still loses! We, the people did not want a government bailout but it passed anyway, so that means that employees of a failed company get taxpayer money? I think not! If they were allowed to fail in the first place they wouldn't be getting a dime. Everyone, think this one through, not based on a very passionate Glenn Beck, who was based not on principles but emotion. Now, let's get our money back and get back to focusing our outrage at the real culprits in Washington D. C.

North Carolina was an easy and obvious pick. Coach "Cry Baby" K, of Duke is upset because Obama didn't pick his team to make the final four, having said that, this along with the AIG bonuses and Jay Leno, it is all a big distraction from the big picture. Obama is very effective at deflecting criticism, hard hitting questions and can steer a fawning press his way. Meanwhile, I'll continue to live by the 9 principles and 12 values and still enjoy the distraction of the NCAA basketball tournament. Go Louisville Cardinals!
