I don't know, Stella, I wandered around Tuli yesterday just to make sure I hadn't missed anything. I've been there in the past and left with nothing but disappointment. I didn't see anything that was darker than a medium tan. Since there are plenty of stores that offer skins in my preferred tone, I'll shop there instead.

@ # 1: Even in 2009, a lot of SL skin designers still don't care about black/brown people. This isn't exactly news. I find it annoying too, since my lindens are just as good as fair skinned people's lindens. Sin Skins just put out a group gift in all their skin tones- now you know where to bring your business.

(I don't know why you all seem to think Tuli offers dark skins, btw. I'm there right now, and the darkest shade offered is a medium tan. I imagine that's not what #1 is looking for, and thank goodness there are plenty of skin shops in SL that have something for us dark and lovely types.)

@ #5- Are we, perhaps, familiar? Well done all around, from the sentiment to the artwork.

#5, I can think of an occupation where one can be financially compensated for being a secret mistress...

"And as we said before, these few entries were not what we were looking for. No offense, but the truth is that they are very common, there is nothing special about them. "

Ansor, while you are entitled to run your contest however you see fit, do you honestly not see why a statement like this would upset people? You could have very easily avoided this drama and got the results that you wanted. All you had to do is make a short statement: "We are extending our contest to allow more people to enter." A statement like that would not have generated any hurt feelings, and would have gotten more entries to your contest. By telling your customers that their entries are "too common" you are offending a lot of people. Not everyone reads the blogs, but people *do* talk- and people are finding out about your poor customer service.
