Now, here it comes very clear (based on an article in Hareetz): http://www.spiegel.de/politik/ausland/0,1518,7425...
A very secret memo by Netanyahu to US and European politicians asking for support for Hosni Mubarak! It requests to stop criticizing Mubarak! This proves how deep Mubarak depends on Israel for his power! I'm sure that the Mossad was present when demonstrators at the Interior Ministry were shot.
Also, Shimon Peretz tells in radio, that a dictatur by Mubarak would be better for Israel than a Muslim government.

IMHO, if the US hated or only feared ElBradei, he would have been killed already.
I guess the USG wants to have some control about the future, and the have an ass in the sleeve.
If Egyptians are smart they wont accept anorher dictator just 'cause he has another face.
Personally, I wouldn't trust a guy who has made it so high up, such guys had supporters and were tested very well by those who were in power. I wouldn't trust such a guy from my experience.

Yes, I must agree on that, the US nrver bothered about what the people thought ("democracy"), they only bothered about what is useful on those crap dactators. And that show how sick US politics was and it will be the reason that the US will have no friends.

It tells me that behind the back they are trying to help Hosni, but just in case Hosni wouldn't make it they are offering help to the follower. Its a hard time for politicians to take a position and somehow reminds me on some of the politician's behavior on the days before the Berlin Wall fell.

Could it be that some of the "plainsclothesmen" are undercover Mossad?
I would be surprised if Mubarak does not get some "brotherly" help:-)

It's just not so easy for Neocons to understand the term "democracy". We have those guys also in Germany, and the call following the peoples wishes "populism", which is now some kind of slur
and could be very well the end of a politician's career (since he/she would be dangerous to the others).

I wonder how the Mossad is now engaged. They will do anything to keep the current system in charge? And maybe have some special interest on the side?

"Appearing on al-Jazeera State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley insisted that Mubarak’s pro-Israel stance was too important to the region to allow a Tunisia-style rebellion."

Amazing, that's IMHO the first VERY OPEN official statement that the USG is NOT interested in having democracies when they are NOT helpful in supporting its empire!

These are difficult days for the US diplomacy and I have a lot of fun watching that!
They have to be very aware of the moment when to switch sides:-)
And hopefully when power changes they will be able to shred some papers!!

Since the collapse of the status quo, the roles between the US and Russia have changed. Russia has is now one of the most peaceful countries, just trying to save its resources. On the other hand, the USA is foolishly enforcing its dream of ruling the world and establishing an absolute empire. And this is done with all means and as the WikiLeaks documents show and PROVE, without respect for other people and cultures.
Maybe a few of view will look at this speech by Medwedjev who said at the meeting in Davos, that WikiLeaks will improve the international climate, http://en.rian.ru/world/20110126/162322134.html
I would go further, it will remove some of the most blatant lyers in politics and prevent some more to think twice before betraying their own people. I hope so too for some German and European politicians.
