I like Newt Gingrich! Newt is intelligent, well thought out, a good academic, a good debater, and he has experience. Is he perfect? No, but I don't know anyone who is. Newt Gingrich had only one alleged “ethics violation”, and a subsequent IRS ruling essentially CLEARED him on that one. Newt knows Washington, and won't need "on the job training". Newt is a “real” candidate and is not “manufactured” meaning that he hasn’t had his whole history hidden, and then re manufactured through his books as the current president. On one hand, I agree that the debate with Donald Trump IS beneath the office of the Presidency; but I will point out that I have seen many presidential candidates end up on "David Letterman's top 10 Countdown", the most recent one being Perry. Overall, it is is indeed inappropriate. The only positive thing is that the participants will get some national exposure on a prime time debate. It most likely won't hurt my opinion of the candidate that I like.

Why should voter ID bother anyone? It merely insures that we have an accurate and valid election process. You can't rent a movie without having to show an ID. It shouldn't bother those who follow the law. It will only bother those who wish to operate "outside" the laws.
