Its worth noting that the only injury on this trip so far (knock on wood) came from Dan slipping off that tree while hugging it and rolling his ankle. Apparently it wasn't feeling the love.

Good to here from ya Capn'! That photo was taken from the point we camped out on in Westport, CA. Its a beautiful sleepy little town on CA's Lost Coast. Hope all is well up in the San Juans. Thanks Debbie. Bend has been amazing. It reminds me of being back home in Boulder, CO. What an incredible outdoor oriented community and I must say that Townshend's Tea House is rapidly shooting to the top of my favorite wifi hotspots. Hope all is well and keep posted; great things are on the horizon.

Glad someone got the reference. It really might be the most pleasant mental image ever: " If I had boat I'd go out on the ocean, and if I had a pony I'd ride him on my boat. And we could all together, go out on the ocean, just me up on my pony on my boat." Hope all is well and hope to see ya soon. We're up in Seattle now, and heading back into the mountains towards Ranier and then down towards Hood River in the next week. Life's pretty good.
