Why do these kids think Bush gave Haliburton the war contracts? Those were awarded by Clinton waaay before Bush was ever in office. Yes, war contractors are given contracts 'just in case' so they will be in place before they are needed.

I find it weird that the 'reporter' here can read minds and 'knows' which daughter Letterman was talking about. In fact there was only one daughter there and Letterman knoew which one it was and made the joke about the 14 year old daughter. It was only afterwards that he tried to take back what he said that Letterman made up the part about the target of the joke being the older daughter. Well, rape jokes are not funny under any circumstances whether the target rapee is over or under age. It is a despicable joke. And he lies about not telling jokes like this. He has been denigrating the Palins since last year almost every night.
