The audience for this tripe is fast drying out, especially since now some of the religious channels that air the original movies are now showing series that once upon a time were condemned as Satanic or at least non-family friendly. The time for LEFT BEHIND was gone long before the final book was published. Put a stake in this franchise's heart and let no one make any more movies about it. Post-apocalyptic reconstruction in the 70's was stark enough. Add on what we know about climate change now and you can see why ARK II might be the comeback series for DreamWorks Animation. I have several of Filmation's live action series on DVD, including SPACE ACADEMY, JASON OF STAR COMMAND and THE SECRETS OF IRIS. (Sadly, they haven't gotten around to releasing SHAZAM! on DVD due to copyright issues with DC Entertainment. It was a miracle enough to get IRIS on DVD considering.)
