Reminds me of the Tennessee game when they had Pritchard play running back. Worked out really well if memory serves.

I would just as soon see Murphy and Evans. It's a long season, and a few quarters Saturday for those guys will be beneficial for everyone. Rest for the starters, game experience in case injuries later this year require the backups to play. Just no good reason if the game is out of reach to not play those two.

As a fellow LHS graduate (actually a Denver Lutheran grad, which was merged into Jordan's school a few years ago), I couldn't be prouder and happier for Jordan. There is an excellent story on him and how CSU told him he would never be a D1 player here. http://bsndenver.com/cu-buffs-jordan-murphy-was-t...

Now let him carry the ball at least once in his college career please, and let it start with CSU!!

Seems like this Moeller chap is becoming a good interview. Humble, sincere, hard working and intelligent......typical Colorado mountain kid.

Maybe he'll end up in the NFL like Solder and there will be a pipeline of players from the mountains through CU to the NFL?

Agreed, lots of missed tackles that should have hurt this team more than they did. The PAC12 will not be so forgiving.

I did see that and am looking forward to the games. Just waiting for the season tickets to come in the mail!

It seemed like the success in the running game sure slowed down the pass rush last Sat. The Hawaii game was just bizarre in that the rushing success was never leveraged into making Hawaii respect the rush and negate their pass rush. The pass rush was always on, and it burned them when they overran the plays.

Mass game was the complete opposite, and it appeared the Sefo was looking for longer routes to develop because he did have the extra time that the run game had provided. There wasn't much success n that area, but it sure seemed like he had more time once they began to really leverage the run game.

Wish we would have snagged that guy at Mines. Who knew that he would know something about offense......other than most of the football world.

As I wrote in a feature last year, I first met Stitt at a coaching clinic at Houston. Among the coaches there were Texas A&M's Kevin Sumlin, West Virginia's Dana Holgorsen, Cal's Sonny Dykes, TCU's Doug Meacham and UCLA’s Noel Mazzone — many of the top offensive minds in the game. Yet, it was Stitt who seemed to make the biggest impression at the clinic
