All too often the solutions even our neighbors are suggesting are rooted in increased government control over our lives. I think that freedom is as important a guiding principle as any we are trying to bring back to the forefront of America. I think any solution based on the 9/12 principles and values MUST be framed in FREEDOM. A solution must make sure that we are either as free as we are today or more free as a result. If not, what is the sunset provision for taking our power back? The problem lies in the contract. Who signed a contract with ANY employee with guaranteed bonuses to begin with? I thought bonuses were a gift for performance above expectations. I fail to see how anyone running a business that loses money should EVER qualify for a bonus. I would think the minimum expectations for any such job would be to break even or make money.
