The bill is officially dead. It will not get to the legislature for a vote. I don’t think anyone really believed any bill of this nature would be enacted that would have jeopardized even a single vote for the demoncrats. Welfare is simply too large of a voter base for them and another method of buying votes. Politics in this state is not hampered by those pesky principles and values.

Daniel Hannan! He’ the man! I sure wish we had someone here in the U.S. with the eloquence and brass that he has to speak our Manchurian Candidate in the same manner!

11 – Adopt English as the only national language for the United States.
12. – The executive branch MUST enforce the laws of the land.
13 – A means for national referendum to overturn attempts by any of the 3 branches of government to attack, by-pass or alter the explicit language of any of the constitution’s Bill-of-Rights

5 – Annual pay-raises for government office holders to be no more than cost-of-living raises with the same rate as Social Security.
6 – The Supreme Court may no longer legislate from the bench. It may ONLY test the constitutionality of congressional legislation and executive branch actions.
7 – Absolutely no ear-marks in legislation and no “pork” bills.
8 – Institute a line-item veto for the executive branch.
9 – Provision for instituting a no-confidence popular vote system for peacefully removing ineffective office-holders mid-term.
10- Constitutional amendment requiring a balanced national budget. NO more deficit spending

Here’s my wish list for improving Federal government. Nothing really unique here, but these are the ones that I deem the most important. 4 of 13

1 – Term limits for legislators. This would most likely spell doom for the 2 major parties. Legislators would more likely be elected based on their merit and qualifications than party affiliation.
2 – Franchise for tax-payers only. Wards of the state should not have a voice in selecting government office holders. The privilege to vote should be limited to only those that pay for government.
3 – A fair, non-progressive, tax system—either a straight percentage income tax for all, or a national sales tax. Vastly reduce or eliminate the IRS.
4 – All government office holders to participate in the Social Security program. No more privileged retirement system.

Glenn, I’m with you! God bless you and your team for the brave initiative. I salute Fox too for the guts to stand for conservative American values. For me, the proper hierarchy is God, family and country—in that order and as outlined in the Bible. As a life-long conservative, I support your efforts and I’ll do whatever it takes to redeem America. If we do not act now we will lose this great nation and consign our progeny to slavery and death at the hand of the socialists.
