Seeing as your whole style is to publish video of your stings… the ‘wiretapping’ accusation seemed pretty unlikely, even stupid, right off the bat.

For future reference, when calculating risk factors be sure to put “Federal” and “Felony” into the calculations... but we're looking forward to seeing this, and your next, venture soon!

Best wishes to you, Joe, and the other’s and as you can see by the comments, there's a lot of us out here willing to do whatever we can to help you out (preferably without having to put on any uniforms… just sayin’).

BTW, to those of you moonbats out there... you surely meant to prefix 'Alleged' to your accusations of wiretapping, theif & punk, right? You know, like you do for hassan, the jingle balls bomber & ksm being 'Alleged' terrorists & so forth... right?

" I know everyone here is prepared to totally finance the care of their elderly parents (and in-laws, too, perhaps)."

'I know you think you want to get off heroin, but are you really ready for withdrawls & DT's? Fuhgedaboudit... don't worry, be happy, there's nothing wrong... here, have some more....'

Enabler.

Quitting Cold Turkey wouldn't be possible, or responsible, to those who've been led to expect and depend upon their little govt fixes. But a '12-Step' plan of legislative repeal that involved the scheduled phasing out of those programs, would eventually get us off the D.C. Crack habit.

Or you could continue to lay in the gutter with that dreamy expression on your face.

Pardon me while I step over you.

How about this one:

1. No citizen of the United States shall again seek to substitute easy legislative decrees for their own brains and responsibilities.

While I fully understand the term limit sentiment, and agree that ANY incumbent that doesn't measure up should be voted out, I don't think we need to try and offload any more of our own intelligence and responsibility to the govt.

Doing THAT is how we got to where we are now in the first place! The attempt to have govt do our thinking and acting for us, is... Stupid. We have a long history of trying it anyway though, Prohibition, Min Wage, Unemployment Insurance, Soc Security, Medicare and now healthcontrol... they've all been attempts to prevent YOU from being stupid with your own decisions... how has that worked out for us so far?

More than that, get out there, find the candidate that doesn't want to give you a damn thing, and will work to give you less, less regulations, less taxes, less Govt, and spend time telling others about them!
Work hard to shoot the RINO's down in the primaries, and elect candidates who will give us LESS!!!

You've got to wonder how much enthusiasm the GOP thinks it's going to get by answering calls to lynch us, with a stirring response of "No! Too drastic! We demand slow acting poison instead!"

asstounding.

Hmmm... I'll bet on the high numbers coming from the White men... lowest from the Hispanics (not sure on the M/F odds there)... out of curiosity, do you have actual numbers behind that, or just guessing yourself?

Btw, the pdf of William Lind's speech seems to have been chased out of it's original home at academia.org(go figure), but can be found here: “Political Correctness:” A Short History of an Ideology.

The early dismissals of PC speak as just pinheads being silly, i.e."Janitorial Engineer" instead of janitor, missed the more subtle and dangerous results of PC - that it instills a tolerance not only for Lying, but for 'The ends justify the means', which is a key tenet of replacing the classical liberal understanding of Justice which our Founders had, for the preferred proregressive, marxist, goal of 'Fairness', which is key to being able to 'spread the wealth around'.

And of course, as we found out last week, habitually and deliberately overlooking the obvious truth, will eventually ensure that a definite evil will be passed by, without a single challenge, and with deadly results.

PC is the deliberate misidentification of reality (aka: Lying), or deliberately overlooking some uncomfortable feature of reality (aka: Lying by omission), to make something seem more palatable.

The demands that PC puts on speech and the arts, is that, ultimately, Truth and Beauty are no longer the goals of the Arts - ask yourself when the last time was you saw a widely hailed item of Art, that struck you as being beautiful? Something may labeled as that, but in substance they'll be more Gritty and Blatant, than True and Beautiful.

Starting a business, joining a band, much the same... ok... I was weird, but even as a musician, I still could see to vote for Reagan over Carter.. can't say I was a conservative then, or what that meant, but I could still tell Carter was worthless.

Hi Joan!

Adam, good post - amazing what those first born's will do to you... mine was 1988, and all the 'Fun Stuff', soon began to be seen in a new light...
