It's not the language I find offensive; it's the uncalled-for arrogance of this OpEd. If I'm reading it correctly, President Obama is a failure in progress because he has not gone far enough with the progressive agenda that got him elected. It would have been sufficient to stop at President Obama's administration is a failure after less than a year because he has used his time to demonstrate that he is unprincipled, indecisive, and woefully lacking in leadership, whereas the progressive movement is principled (though presumptuous), decisively intolerant of the blueprint our Founding Fathers laid out 222 years ago, and -- judging by this OpEd -- prone to mobocratic influence. That's why I keep my powder dry and plenty of canned goods on hand.
