I'm sorry, but I suppose I should have read the actual law since I didn't know that it apparently stops people from choosing "ex-gay" nonsense for themselves. Clearly, if the law says "if you have ever had a homosexual thought in your entire life, then you must forever be gay and never, ever, even think about being straight" then, yeah, I'd say that's infringing on personal liberties.

If, on the other hand, it says "you can't force someone else, especially a minor, to undergo 'ex-gay' 'treatment'", then, yeah, that's not infringing on your personal liberties, it's preventing you from infringing on someone else's.
