One has talent--no doubt--but so much of it is glitter, contrived drama, and stage direction; the other. . .well, he also has talent, and it is based on varied musical talents, rock-solid convictions about who he is and what he does, and a big dose of humility. What a breath of fresh air! What you see is what you get with Kris Allen, and so it is with former VP Cheney. Gravitas and steady performance. I like it.
