Oh, that's right. Well, sheesh, since Lionel and Lex are dead, can't he come out of hiding?

Chloe got married without her Dad there (he's still alive!) so it makes sense that Jimmy would leave his family behind, right? Weren't they all jerks? Jerks who only come to his funeral, apparently. That was just...yeah.

Are you suuuure?

Good point :)

I dunno if it's the hoyay or what here, but you make a totally great point: what makes Brainiac so different from Doomsday? They're both creations that aren't really responsible for their homicidal tendencies since, you know, somebody else left that programming loophole in there for them to exploit. If the only difference is that one is organic and the other is not, that's totally bulls***. Sentience is sentience, whether it's a rock or a rhino.

I, too, was pleased to discover Chloe was Not-Chloe. They almost got me with the long, lingering shots of Allison Mack crying her eyes out and being entirely freaked. I mean, I knew the girl could act (she's one of the few that tries any more), but yeesh. That was so uncomfortable to watch that I'm almost mad that it wasn't her. But only almost because what came later would have been impossible to reconcile with Chloe as we know her. Characterization may not be a guiding mantra on this show, but I get really annoyed when they screw with characters I like for no reason.

You're not shallow. Like I said, I'm just a pervert.

Happy to amuse. I have to keep laughing or I'll start dying on the inside. (More than I already am.)

You know, those days weren't so long ago. The first half of this season wasn't abominable. What the hell happened?

One of my favorite moments had to be Nimoy-Spock meeting Quinto-Spock. It's funny that, to my memory, Quinto-Spock was way more emotional and human than Nimoy-Spock as was in TOS. However, in this case, Nimoy-Spock had done so much more living and adapting that he seemed emminently more human as a result. It's so funny that those associations I had got turned on their head by that one meeting.

Plus Spock just taught himself that he could lie. I would like more made of this, kthnxbai.

I think you're selling DeForest Kelly short if you're honestly telling me you NEVER got a little squirmy over McCoy before this movie. There's plenty of reason why Dax got that little mischievous smile on her face when she was talking about McCoy's rather excellent hands...

Sorry. Always been a McCoy pervert, always will be.

Cheers and thanks for the good word! I miss Michael McKean, too. Then again, I miss when this show was about the teenage Clark Kent and not about him refusing-to-be-Superman-even-though-he's-basically-Superman era.
