Just a thought here but will these new machines work on really obese people ? You know, the ones who have HUGE fat rolls that could easily conceal a hand gun, a knife or even a small bomb ? All they'd need to do is tape the weapon of their choice up under one of those fat rolls !!! i'de bet the machine wouldn't pick it up !!!

Just to let you know the government was in the insurance business at one time and obviously they failed at it.!!! They were in the business when back in the mid 60s when Medicare was passed as part of President Johnson's "Great Society " program. Now and for about the last 30 years Medicare is run by private insurance. Now private insurance is not doing this out of the kindness of their heart !!! They're making a huge profit at our expense !!! Look at the graft and fraud being perpetuated against Medicare and Medicaid !!! And now the gov't. wants to put everyone on MANDATORY health care !!!

Amen Brother !!! Very well put !!! I just wish we could literally tar and feather those people and run them out of the country !!! They have taken our U.S. Constitution and wiped their collective asses with it and are rubbing it in our face !!!

I can just about guaranty Obama would sign the bill along with most of the democrats in both houses !!! Our best hope for that bill to fail is for the Supreme Court to overturn it as unconstitutional !!! Which by all rights and reason it is !!! now should the Supreme Court turn against us and refuse to review it or worse uphold it. Then we the people should just do as Nancy Reagan used to tell the kids and "Just say NO" and refuse to purchase their "MANDATORY" health insurance !!! It's too bad that as you suggest the White House staff and everyone should have to sign the bill but that's just not the way our system works. All you can do if it does pass is pray that the Supreme Court has a pair and rules against it !!!

I too just watched "civilist of wars" and enjoyed the show very much. The one thing I noticed was when they were talking about the health care issue they failed to mention that Nancy Pelosi a couple days ago announced that the house was working on a bill that would be ready to vote on in July. Now in announcing the new bill she said it would be a MANDATORY insurance program where everyone would be required to buy this health care insurance !!! She also stated that people who made less than $88,000 a year would be helped by the federal government !!! The thing that sticks in my craw is her using the word MANDATORY !!! Obviously she is so far out of touch with our constitution where it says we all have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness !!! MANDATORY and LIBERTY makes for me a conflict !!! My definition of LIBERTY is the RIGHT to CHOOSE !!! I also believe that the bill they are working on is just going to run this country deeper in debt. The countries that have "socialized" medicine also set the rates as to Drs. fees and hospital fees as well as ambulance fees etc. The government in those countries regulate the entire medical industry in their respective nations. Pelosi's bill doesn't address these issues. It dictates that everyone must comply and buy this insurance and this is wrong !!!! If we lose the right to choose we've lost our nation !!!
