Haven't seen a McDonald's in Laos or Cambodia... although they could well have one! I think KFC is more popular in that region!

I think I'm too placid, I never reached the breaking point in 2 year straight of travel. Although at times I was fed up with seeing too many things. Sounds strange but when you are traveling around there is so much to see, but I didn't want to see everything....just too many sites. I guess I just needed 1-2 weeks of doing no sight seeing. There were only some many temples I could handel.

cus you get a "Chang-over"... come on! Everybody knows that! :D

Great article, I remember being in Vietnam and trying to figure out how to send something home.... took me about 2 hours to fill out about 20 forms before I got anywhere!
