According to more than one scource, the birds have been sold to comply with the county. If they were truly being neglected, the birds would have been taken months ago, and rightly so. Too many does not equal neglected or diseased. We all want the same thing, animals to be taken care of and people safe. But this was a waste of resources.

This family has been working with law enforcement to comply with county codes. This strikes me as a good old fashion witch hunt in the name of protecting animals. If you are a farmer or have live stock in Greene County beware. Don't get me wrong, we need organizations that protect animals, but we also do not need to waste their time and resources.
