If they want to create jobs, they should hold a convention to consider new amendments. Just imagine how many sex work, bartending, hotel and wait staff jobs would be created in whatever city the convention was held!

I'm surprised that they don't try an rewrite the Second Amendment and take that pesky line about "well-regulated militias" out.

Since no legislator has the guts to try and enforce that clause by requiring ammosexuals to even do so little as to register with their state as members of its militia, let alone require them to undergo training and meet any standards of performance, it's pretty much moot.

Yeah, if I understand it correctly (and if the Wikipedia page is right) it was only taxes on interest, dividends, and rental income that was ruled unconstitutional, on the grounds that it was a direct tax on property and therefore subject to the apportionment clause.

In our school they let the Jehovah's Witness girl stand quietly by her desk with her hands at her side. I don't have any specific memories of anyone giving her shit for it, but I do remember other girls making fun of the ankle length skirts and long sleeved white blouses she always wore.

As long as both sides believe that they are supported by the facts, there can be no objection to facts being taught.

When has anyone anywhere ever held a position that they were wiling to admit was not supported by "the facts"? The objections come when it's time to define what the facts are.

The five-pointed star was also an early Christian symbol. You can "cross" yourself with it, like this -- left breast, forehead, right breast, left shoulder, right shoulder, left breast. It begins and ends at the heart, like God.

Let me guess, it was the department of cyber security, or whatever agency that is charged with that function?
