Hi Guys, I'm currently on 3Gs FW3.1.3, BB 5.12.01, old bootrom. successfully jailbroken using spirit and unlocked using ultrasn0w. I have my 4.0, 4.01 & 4.1 SHSH blobs saved on Cydia (checked using tinyumbrella). Now I'm willing to upgrade to iOS4.x.x. and keep my device UNLOCKED. How to do this? (just breif steps, I can read further details) Thanks in advance.

Why can't I use PwnageTool 4.01 on iOS 4? Is that because I don't have a previously jailbroken iphone although my bootrom is old?

The carrier in Egypt from which I purchased my iPhone 3GS is not announcing to customers that this phone would be locked to his network only. This important information neither clearly notified in official advertisements or banners nor during the face-to-face purchase operation. This is considered as a sort of cheat and Fraud. I was totally surprised to find my iPhone not working ouside Egypt during an overseas business trip. What can I do now? Can I ask the carrier for an official unlock since they cheated me?! Thanks in advance for the support.
