Really well done video. But, where did the scene with Christian Shepard and Vincent come from? Was that an extra scene on the dvds?
I can get behind the idea of a Branch of Torchwood being started in the US. But I cannot get behind a US Doctor reboot. The BBC Doctor episodes just need to be released on an actual channel in the US that people have easy access too not a channel that you only get with the most expensive package deal.
Like Blaine said "it will probably get deconstructed and nothing iconic will make the transition" what would they make the TARDIS? The US didn't have Police Boxes in the 60's the only thing that comes to mind that was iconic at that time were the old phone booths. I just don't see a US Doctor ever happening.
Sounds like they're making a name change like they did with the first book. HP and the Philosopher's Stone (UK) and HP and the Sorcerer's Stone (USA). I've never understood why they do it and even if they told me I probably still wouldn't understand.
I agree that Anderson shouldn't direct a possible MGS movie or Castlevania. Even though I do like the RE movies because they are different from the games. **Rant**I don't want to pay to see a video game movie that is 2 hours of what took me 6 hours to do. I would be frustrated that they make it look so easy to get through it all in 2 hours and that the only difference is they are actors and not voice actors and animation.**Rant Over**
But I do have a director suggestion for MGS the movie, Paul Greengrass. He directed Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum, and his new movie Green Zone is looking really good right now. And for Castlevania I suggest Guillermo Del Toro as the director.
HA! That is awesome on the ridiculous scale.
I have always been curious about when people say Hollywood in reference to movie companies. Now, what companies are being talked about exactly? This is an everyone question not just the poster. I've heard people say Hollywood has run dry on original ideas. But is it that all screen writers live in Hollywood or do all movie companies in Hollywood buy scripts that are lacking in original ideas? I know its a term, but it's a poor term. So any clarity would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds interesting enough. At least it won't be about a bunch of board members around a table trading properties until one owns the majority and then proclaims himself mayor of monopoly. Next we'll be seeing hungry hungry hippos as a horror movie and Battleship! a thriller with the feel of War Games. Maybe this will get someone interested in remaking Clue, but hopefully keep Tim Curry in it.
Did you read the post? Because it's about what are considerably dark movies that are kids movies. Last I knew The Exorcist was rated R, so it's not a valid example. Not many actual horror or scary movies are below a PG-13 rating, where these are PG with the exception of Pinocchio and The Hunchback of Notre Dame being G and considered scary for kids. They even say they're rated PG because of scary images. So these aren't scary to you, clearly, but what about to a child who hasn't been read Grimm's Fairy Tales?
I think they did the same thing with Frankenweenie.
