Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Pastors who read sermon notes from an iPad.

Jon i can totally relate with clothing as the status symbol in school. About preachers preaching from the iPad. I do not really have a problem with it. if they have them money to buy one and it makes them more efficient by having one I say who's it going to hurt? Now if they are just getting one as a status symbol for no other reason than to show off they have an iPad, that is where the problem comes in.

Shooting the Breeze : I\'m giving away a copy of Stuff Christians Like

I would have to say that my favorite is Booty, God, Booty! It is just classic. Got to hear Jon talk a couple of months ago, and I have to say if you get a chance to go hear him speak take advantage of it. He is great. My recent post iPhone 4G found at Bar!

Michael Hyatt Blog : The Leadership Secrets of Paul Revere (and a Book Giveaway)

I love biographies about historical figures. It is great to find out about the little things in the historical figures life that directed them to that "great moment" they are know for. It is like the book Bonheffer that I am currently reading now. There were so many events that actually molded him into the great theologian and martyr he turned out to be. Also, what makes biographies great is they are great teachers. They can teach you many, many valuable lessons. My recent post Bonheffer by Eric Metaxa
