Don't be fooled by Senator Specter. He is running behind in the polls in Pennsylvania and is merely trying to pander to the Republican base. He WILL vote for this bill when it comes up after the election. He is part of the problem, being a career politician of over 30 years.

We need to limit terms of politicians to a maximum of 3 terms for senators. House members should be at 4 year terms so they don't have to spend half their term running for re-election. How about a merit system where every year the voters decide whether to keep their representatives or throw the out. Let's start with geting rid of all 535 members now!
