I love him dearly, but he’s not very romantic company. A meal with him will mean getting to hear the GLURP, SLUP of senior formula kibble getting sucked down. And going out? Of course that’s a sniff around the back yard. And forget chivalry—I not only get to open the door for him, but I will do this all evening long. But what can I say? When he looks into my eyes, it’s genuine love. Or maybe the request for a dog biscuit.
