Yes, he acquitted himself just fine in the war. Kudos to him and our thanks. But defending our country in the past does not give him a free pass to ruin our country now.

No one forced him to encourage the wussification of the GOP, nor did anyone force him to endorse ObeyMe when he was offered EXACTLY the candidate he was saying the GOP should have. HE left the Republicans, just as Specter left the Republicans, and good riddance to them both, I say.

And I have a great deal of difficulty considering him a patriot when he endorses a man who spits on the Constitution and actively seeks to ruin the very country Powell SWORE and FOUGHT to protect.

They aren't even governing by public opinion polls. A few weeks ago (and this is but ONE example) Gallup showed ObeyMe's approval was at 63%...in a poll that was weighted towards Dems by EIGHTEEN PERCENT.

In that the polls aren't even real polls, ObeyMe is not governing by popular opinion; he is governing by mere whim and socialist agenda..

Personally, I think any politician who lies during his or her campaign, and after they are elected, should be brought up on perjury charges.

Hear hear. The only problem is that the Dems control DC. Who in power is going to call for her impeachment? Obama? Holder? Reid? She could come out today and say "Yeah, you know what? I lied through my teeth. What are you gonna do about it? Nothing. You all suck so bite me." And not a damn thing would come of it. And thanks to Soros and ACORN and the other tools of corruption, I'm sure she will be re-elected in '10.
