I guess this project wasn't "shovel ready" but is seems to have been "ho ready"...... I'm completely in favor of cutting all funding to ACORN but then again I've been in favor of that since I first heard of them years ago.

We have bought in to the MSM meme that conservatives are mean, powerhungry and selfish and have compensated by trying to be "nice" and non-confrontational. Just like dealing with totalitarians and thugs, our kindness has been mistaken for weakness and our enemies have just pushed harder.

I have not seen a negative comment on this film from anyone whose opinion I trust so far. I know a number of people that are seeing this in the theatre that rarely see anything before it comes out on DVD anymore. I think this will have some real staying power because of how much positive "word of mouth" it is getting.

No relation to the those other Baldwins, of whom only Stephen is worth crossing the street to piss on if he was on fire....
But I agree, Jayne Cobb and his redemption was the great unfinished story arc of Firefly in my opinion..
