Ok, we have a 7yo and a 3yo & we've found that co-sleeping works pretty well. We've had to re-arrange our schedules A LOT to do it, and I end up having to clean up the kitchen and load the dishwasher at midnight, but it works. :-)

We also invested in some of those light-up reading glasses that make you look like a Borg and book-reading lights. That way we don't have to light up the whole bedroom to read a bed-time story or catch up on the latest Candorville collection. ;-)

I'm all about esoteric .... my dissertation was about the construction of false identity in "The Late Matia Pascal", "Memoirs Found in A Bathtub" and "Amerika".

So many books, so little time.

Having redacted documents in a former life, I am curious to know why the "lan" of "Gilligan's Island" was redacted ... Perhaps, the letters were not really "lan", but something else? What letters could they have been? And what could the real significance of this particular redaction be? What is the FBI hiding behind the lacuna left by the redacted 'lan', I wonder ...

Voyager? Really? The only good thing to come out of that show was Jeri Ryan, who was responsible for getting Barack Obama elected Senator of Illinois.

I think in "The Shoes of the Fisherman", the Pope causes a controversy by opening up the vast resources of the Catholic Church to help feed starving people.

If the Church does not do good with the tithes it collects, what is the point?
