Thanks for the two Chesterton mentions. Here are some more of his words of common sense.
" Men do not differ much about what things they will call evil; but they differ enormously about what evils they will call excusable."

Put me in the gulag kadaka, I did miss the emoticon. So far I have lived my life very well with an ignorance of emoticons. I think we are on the same side here did you really want to slap me down? : (

I have thought this too. On one hand I have a yearning(?) for times to be tougher. I find myself saying "toughen up" so often in my life (under my breath) to the people around me and in the public and myself. Let's separate the wheat from the chaff, the men from the mice, the weak from the strong and all that. I fear the changes coming for America but I hope it sweats out some gumption from people . We will need strong men to help lead.

Bring back real men and maybe we can clean up this mess we have made of America. Thanks CBK.

I'm with you. Let's get together and do some public shunning and shaming and some scarlet lettering again.

I have never heard that metaphor about the toilet before. Hysterically funny and incredibly accurate. I will use it in my arguments for and against a lot of topics.
For a long time I have been wanting to make a t-shirt that says "bring back shame" but now I also want one to say "Shame: it's what separates us from the animals" I need to get working on that. Thanks.

I finally figured out how to DVR the show duhhhhhhh! I used to read the Greagalouge every day and the lightbulb went off finally to w-a-t-c-h it. Even so, I am smart enough to appreciate this show hugely. This is the best thing on TV bar none. This post was brought to you by wood chips. Thanks wood chips
